I was terribly sick in Copacabana. Ok, so when the guidebook says "Do not brush your teeth with tap water", then do not brush your teeth with tap water.
Anyway, I spent a night in agony, the likes of which must surely rival child birth, with the added complication of not knowing which end should be facing the toilet.
I opted for @rse on the loo and head in the bin... fell asleep and woke up 3 hours later with a ring around the top of my legs and dent in my forehead.
Also woke up 3 kgs lighter. Proving that there is a little good in everything bad.
